 What is a website layout?
Website layout is basically how your navigation, header, footers, pictures, content
etc. are arranged on the webpage.
It is vitally important that your site has a good layout that is pleasing
to the eye. There is an old age saying that goes like this: " First
impressions last". So if your visitors are not impressed with your presentation, simply their
visit won't last.
Websites are judged by a couple of things: E.g.
- Layout
- Content
- Navigation

- Even if your website is online for quite some time,
keep on improving it. Times change and technology change.
- Keep your website layout user friendly. Make it is as simple as possible
to navigate from page to page.
- Don't put complex scripts or images that don't work on all web browsers.
- Try to keep your WebPages as small as possible.
- Use standard fonts and don't make the spacing too big.
- Use colors that are pleasing on the eye.
- Watch your webpage dimensions. Try to make it generic so that it can
fit on all pc screens.
The bottom line for website layout is: KEEP IT SIMPLE.
