Website Hosting Support - Technical

From personal experience with web hosts over the years I have experienced good as well as bad web hosting support. Great customer support differentiate a premium web host from a bad web host.

A premium web host will have live technical support via chat or telephone. The last thing you want is a web host company that respond to your problems a couple of days after you lodged it.

A very cheap web host can take quite sometime to respond to your website problems or queries, because they have less staff then premium web hosting companies. They will close your tickets even if you didn't tell them to close them. A premium web hosting company will ask you to if they can close the ticket if you are happy.

Remember smaller cheap web hosts might give very good customer support.

I had some personal bad experience with a web hosting company where I ask them for help and they took almost a week to help me. In another instance I had a form to email script that didn't want to work and all that they did was send me their script and it still didn't solve the problem. On top of this they closed the ticket without resolving the problem and I had to solve the problem myself with a redirect from a nother email account.

Bad web host won't even bother to repond to your problems.
