amazing what you can do online today. E-commerce has really taken off
and ordinary people like you and I have a great opportunity to make money

There are numerous ways to make money online. I'm going to give a
basic guideline and tips of how to go about making money online.

- Be opportunistic - Seize opportunities when they come your way
- Hard working - laziness will get you no where
- Diligence - Stay focused on achieving your objectives
- Sacrifice - Time, money etc.
How can you earn a living from a website?
You don't need to be a rocket scientist to make money online, because
it is so simple.
Simple choose a topic that you're passionate about and write about
it. Information is king on the world wide web. You don't even
need to have your own products or service to make money online.
Even if you have your website online, don't stop adding new content.
Keep on expanding and you will get lots of free traffic from
the major search engines.
It is possible to make a good living just with dedication and
hard work. You don't need to become a scam artist to make
money online.
Earn a honest decent living.
All you need it to use your brain and willing to learn. It is not going to be
easy in the beginning, because you will have to sacrifice some time and
money. Unfortunately there goes you afternoon naps.
Don't expect to become successful if you don't want to invest
in either:
You can of course go the free route, which is fine, but if you're
a serious webpreneur you will have to invest in your ventures.
The problem with going the free route is that you will encounter lots
of restrictions
that can hinder, your business's long term growth.
You don't need to start with a big budget. Start off small and
take baby steps ... till you get to the place where you can
take giant strides. This unfortunately is not going to happen overnight.
It will pay off eventually ... only if you don't give up!
You will have to devote a lot of time on your ventures. Once your
foundation is laid properly and your systems are in place, then things
will become
a lot easier.
Keep reading and staying up to date with what's happening around
you. Adapt to changing times. Stay proactive. Don't stagnate. Knowledge
is power. Believe in yourself.
Let's get back to reality. Unfortunately stats tell us that
there are a very high failure rate, with start up businesses. Don't you
become one of the stats. Just because other people fail, it doesn't mean
that you should fail also.
In all honesty the online business is not for anyone.
Only you can motivate yourself. Money should not become your main
motivating factor in life. It is so simple. If you enjoy what you're
doing and you're
passionate, then you will be successful. No, Let me rephrase it...
If you enjoy what you're doing and you're passionate, then you
ARE successful.
In my book, if you have the right attitude and willing to learn
... that is the key to success and fulfillment.
Some of my friends saw my success and wanted to jump on the
bandwagon. That is fine, as long as they apply the above mentioned principles.
I have 10 years web development experience and my websites rank in
the top 10 on my niche markets in the world. My friend has no experience
at all and his motivation is to beat me. Now this is a very bad attitude
and motive to have. Ignorance and stubbornness will bring you nowhere.
Don't do things to impress people, but simply do it for yourself. If
he should become successful I will shake his hand and simply say ...
congratulations...
well done you also made it! We should have no room for jealousy, but
hard work, dedication and commitment. I don't know why people make things
so
complicated. It is so simple.
Ask yourself the question ... answer honestly.
Why do I want to become successful?
You don't hear successful internet entrepreneurs say, "I
don't like working and learning marketing, but I still make make $100,000
with my site ".
You cannot put a hour a week on doing research, marketing, writing
articles etc. and expect to earn BIG BUCKS. Let's be realistic here.
My first check was $187, and that was enough to convince me that
I can do this.
