 What is a blog?
A blog is short for weblog and is basically an online diary (journal) which consists of comments, articles etc. that gets published on a regular basis.
The blog creator or owner usually post content on the blog. A blog consists of content which include text, images, categories, archives, recent posts etc.
Lots of people create blogs to express themselves or to share their life experiences with other people. The nice thing about blogs is that it is very interactive and blog visitors can post comments (feedback) on articles that the blog owner or author has published.
Now the person that keep the online journal up to date is called a blogger.

How to create your own Blog?
To create a blog you will need a domain name, web hosting and a blog script installed on the hosting web server.
There are lots of free blog scripts available out there, but the most common and popular scripts are WordPress and Drupal.
You can download the scripts for free from the sites and FTP it to the web hosting server.
The easiest way to create your own blog is to use cPanel that you can get free with a web hosting account at bluehost or hostgator
It is a matter of just clicking a button and it will install the blog for you.

- To install a blog from cPanel then click on Screenshot 2 and check the red circle around Fantastico and click on it.
This is how Fantastico looks like:
- Select 1 from the blog options: b2evolution, Nucleus, Wordpress
- Click on Wordpress and click new installation
- Go through the steps.
- Thats it simple!
Google has a Blog search engine were you could find Blogs on your favorite topics.
