Hey, my name is Lawrence and I'm the owner and author of this website. I'm from Cape Town South Africa and I have over 10 years website design and over 5 years making money online and seo experience. I have my own web design, e-marketing and seo company in Cape Town South Africa.

Since 1994 I had an interest and passion for creating websites. I started with static html coding and then later went on to more interactive websites. The internet in those days was not the same like it is today with online videos, ppc - pay per click advertising, social bookmarking etc. Through trial and error I learnt alot about creating websites, making money online and seo. That is why I have decided to create this site to help you step by step to create a profitable website or blog.

The purpose of this site is to help aspiring webmasters to learn the fundamentals of what is involved with creating a website(s). Here you will find affordable and also some free stuff that will really kick start all of your website endeavors.

There are many webmasters or so called gurus that claim that they make lots of money online, but then they're not. Nowadays, ethics and genuine honest people is far and in between. Many scamsters and liars lurking out there. Now this is not pretty and a huge problem.

To wet your appetite here is an example of money I'm generating with my websites. I personally have made thousands of US dollars with all of my online revenue streams over the years. These are just a couple that I get every month. Click on a check to view it.

Yes, it is possible to lay on the beach and get passive income like me, but to get there it will require a bit of work, dedication, commitment and DON'T GIVE UP! As the old age saying goes "Rome was not built in 1 day"

It probably sounds to good to be true to you that it is possible to make a living online. Believe me, I was also sceptical just like you. Today I'm 100 percent debt free. I generate an international passive income and can lay on the beach and get money while I sip on my cocktail. My mom told me "Son, don't put all of your eggs in one basket". That is the advise I'm living by and my personal motto is "Don't give up!".

Starting a home based website business …

Before I seriously became a successful webpreneur I worked a normal 9 to 5 job. Working for a boss that gave me lots of problems and also office politics with fellow co-workers. I created websites on the sideline as a hobby and didn't take it that seriously at first.

I became a bit frustrated with being in the rat race and my dream was to become 100% debt free my own boss and make a living online and offline. So I used some search engines searched on the internet for topics on how to make money online. I read through various material and did extensive research on internet marketing topics and I eventually came across Google Adsense pay per click program and Clickbank affiliate marketing program.

Google Adsense was the first product that I tried on my first and most successful website. My first months earnings was $5 and the next month it grew to $25 and the third month I got a breakthrough and crossed the $100 mark for the first time. Since then I never got less than $100 a month. I also added more sites.

After I tried Google Adsense I tried Clickbank and started promoting products on one of my websites. To make a long story short I managed to get some sales within the first week. I started getting $150 + a month with Clickbank. From there I tried lots of other programs and other ways to make money online and I made a good living.

My online income and websites really helped me to clear all of my debt. If I can do it then you can do it too. I'm still earning very good money to this day and my income has exponentially growing since i started seriously with making money online. The reason I told you my story is to motivate and tell you that it is possible to make a decent living full-time or even part-time online and even to pay of all of your debt with extra online revenue streams.

How to start an online business

The first thing that you will need to start a successful online business is the following:

You will need to do some initial brainstorming and planning and then choose a topic (niche) that you want to write about. Preferably something that you are passionate about. in my case I'm passionate about new technology and websites.
